DEFINITION
Creative non-fiction uses literary craft and facts to write a story that has happened or a story that is based on a true story. Most authors use this type of writing to write memoirs and personal essays. These pieces of writing still include the techniques of literature; narrative, plot, characterization, imagery, and dramatization. Also, they still have the factual parts of nonfiction writing; accurate and well researched. This all allows the author to put himself as a character to narrate a story to explain a topic.
