Definition
Science fiction is an imaginary writing based on current or projected scientific technological developments allowing us to see the world with new eyes. In the world that the story takes place, anything can happen. The imagined sciences in this genre show the impact on society. The “rules” are not the same as the real world. The reader tends to question the real world and if the real world is achieving as much as could be. These stories can take place in the future or the remote past while having visitors from other places such as planets or dimensions. Utopias and dystopias are usually found in these writings. Science fiction shows us that we are, currently, on the edge of both order and chaos.
